FACILITIES MANAGER 

 

 

 

 

The Facilities Manager is responsible for making sure that buildings and their services meet the needs of the church and its affiliates and meet all health and safety standards and also legal requirements. 

 

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

To supervise the janitorial staff and manage the cleaning and maintenance of the church campuses keeping them clean and sanitary, to make sure the surrounding environment is in a suitable condition so that the church campuses are always in their best conditions, and responsible for maintaining the outside of the building including lawn maintenance during the warm weather months and snow removal during the winter.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital growing relationship with Him.

  2. Commitment to the mission, vision and worship philosophy of Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church.

  3. Demonstrate and demand excellence

  4. Organization, time management, prioritizing and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Ability to work well with others.

  2. A good communicator.

  3. To work well within time restraints.

  4. Valid  Driver’s License

  5. Good physical condition, able to lift at least 60 pounds.

  6. Skills to do light maintenance work (i.e. Painting, Repairing, etc.)

  7. Able to work flexible hours.  Standard hours include: 

     12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, Friday, Off Thursdays

       8 a.m. to 12 p.m. as needed on Saturdays & Sundays
